The Fleet

The Baehr “fleet” mercifully still remains at two boats:

Sudden Impulse, a Shark 24 (#1092), which is sailed out of the Beaconsfield YC in Montreal, and is active on the Canadian Shark circuit and the  Lac St. Louis racing scene.

and,

Full Moon, a Compac 23 which is sailed out of the Pelican Cove Yacht Harbor and is active in the Siesta Key Sailing Club winter racing series. Full Moon was added to the fleet in 2015 to replace “Adagio”,

Adagio was a Precision 18.5 center-board, which had an uncanny habit of snap-rolling into a capsize (which turned quickly into a turtle) in winds over 14 knots. Many guests found this to be an unattractive feature of what was otherwise an extremely enjoyable little boat.

Sudden Penury (Shark 307) was sold to Jin Frati and renamed “Blue Moon”. It is beating the pants off us.
