It was tough out there! The fleet, which was already very competitive, is getting stronger with top sailors from other one-design fleets buying/sailing Sharks.

In addition to doing 16 local races and the Club Championship, we  managed to do four of the major Shark one-design regattas:

The Trillium Regatta (with Lisa & Francois), sailed out of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, where we placed 17 out of 30 boats. We raced in fog and rain and it was challenging.

The Shark North Americans (with Francois & Brendan) where we placed 23/28. Very light air and only got in five of the scheduled nine races.

The Shark Canadian Championship (with Lisa & Tim) sailed out of the Kingston Yacht Club (one of my favorite places to sail) where we placed 14 out of 21 (an unusually low turn-out for Kingston which can usually count on 35-40 boats).

The Shark Gold Cup (with Lisa & Val) sailed out of the Whitby Yacht Club where we place 13 out of 31. A good way to finish the year, particularly since with a bit of luck we could have finished in the top ten.
