The Crew

The 2019 crew pool on Sudden Impulse comprised some new folk and a bunch who did not learn their lesson from 2018 and came back for more punishment.

Returning regulars were:

• Anne Desjardins (Thursday middle)
• Nancy Dumoulin (Thursday fore-deck)
• Francois Cimon (Tuesday middle)
• Brendan Remenyi (Tuesday fore-deck)

For the travelling regattas I had the benefit and pleasure of the crew from “Komohoalii” (Shark 1838):

• Lisa Pelling, who gave up helming  “Komohoalii”to do middle, fore-deck, tactician and whatever else needed doing on Sudden Impulse.
• Tim Marshall, who jumped from doing middle on “Komohoalii” to doing middle (and co-tactician).
• Valerie Tardif, who morphed from doing fore-deck and tactician on “Komohoalii” to doing the same on Sudden Impulse for the Whitby.

Not returning because they had either bought their own boat, or were not in Montreal for the summer, were erstwhile crew stalwarts:

• William (“where’s my rum”) Shishakly
• Dr. Sheri (‘floss’em or yank’em” ) Muradali
• Lesli (“love the foredeck”) Tauber
